Farewell to Geoff Smith

Long-standing member Geoff Smith is waving goodbye to Mid Wales Advanced Motorists as he embarks on a new adventure in Ireland. Geoff has been a driving force (pun intended!) for the charity since it started out, and his dedication and expertise will be sorely missed.

As a founder member, Geoff’s contributions to MWAM are countless. He’s been a champion for advanced driving skills and road safety throughout his involvement, always working to make our roads safer for everyone.

To show their appreciation for his exceptional service, the committee awarded Geoff an honorary membership at the 2024 AGM. We’re delighted to have him continue as part of the MWAM family, albeit from afar.

The whole team at MWAM wishes Geoff all the very best in his new life in Ireland. We have no doubt he’ll continue to be a safe and courteous driver on the Emerald Isle!
