Who we are

MWAM is an independent registered UK road safety charity, affiliated to IAM RoadSmart, as part of their support for Associate Members preparing for the advanced test. We help to improve driver and rider skills through coaching and education.

MWAM is run by volunteers, represent a unique resource with unparalleled experience and expertise. We also provide a social focus meeting and enjoying the company of fellow driving and motorcycling enthusiasts.

Where we send your data

MWAM acts as the data controller/data processor when collecting and processing your data.
This Privacy Notice covers MWAM in relation to the collection and use of the information you give us. 

Contact form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service. They are then sent directly to the inbox of our secretary.

Group members are asked to agreed to their details being stored on a computer system on the understanding that they will only be used for group administration and will not be disclosed without their permission.
They can also choose to opt out of:

• Receiving information on training, committee, and social events, together with newsletters relating to the group and road safety. 
• Appearing in, or be referred to, in or on any group social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter etc., group newsletters and group related websites

We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make any significant changes, we will advertise this on our website or contact you directly with the information. Please check this page occasionally to make sure you are happy with any changes.
