Observer Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The IAM RoadSmart guidance for our car observers is that they must wear a face covering and gloves, we feel that to make our present and future associates taking a RoadSmart course with MWAM feel safer when sharing a car with an observer that we go further, we will, therefore, instigate the following requirement for our volunteer observers:

• A disposable seat cover will be used by the observer in the associate’s vehicle
• A Full-face visor 
• A Face mask – N95/KN95 grade mask that will filter out 95% of particles smaller than 0.3 micron
• Rubber Gloves
• Hand Sanitiser

We are hoping that this will give our existing associates enough confidence to consider restarting their training in the not too distant future.  Those considering enrolling in the IAM RS Advanced driving course can be assured that all sensible precautions are in place to ensure their safety.
